Santos are currently 11th on the NFD table, 14 points behind the pacesetters Abafana Bes’thende.

“The coach didn’t talk much about how they play, it’s just that we have to get the three points that’s all,” Lark told CapeTownFootball.

“We don’t know much about them but the coach will tell us in the team-talk, then we must just work on it in the game,” he added.

The 21-year-old attacker is undoubtedly the most inform attacker from Cape Town in the NFD, having scored six goals from the last six matches in all competitions.

Lark had a stint with Ajax Cape Town last season, and is currently working hard in getting back into South Africa’s top league.

I told myself that if I want to play in the top level again I have to work hard and I have to score goals for my team so that the teams can be interested in me,” Lark told CapeTownFootball.

“For me its normal (to be the this good form), I just want to thank my teammates for being there for me on and off the field.

“I never heard yet (about any PSL club interest), but my mind is not there. I just want to be at my best for the rest of the season.

“I just want to thank everyone at Santos and the supporters for being there for me through my ups and downs,” he concluded.
